The FELIX speaker is designed to be able to work well in different kinds of installation: on desk, on stands, in near and far listening. This speaker has a pleasant natural timbre that gives us a non-exhausting listening experience. It has an accurate soundstage reproduction with also good depth that allows us the hear the location of instruments in the three dimensional space (with good recordings of acoustical instruments). Middle, mid-high and high frequencies are 'promptly' reproduced an the extension in the high frequencies is considerable and also gives us a good articulation. FELIX is capable of reproducing the finer detals of the recording, giving us a quite 'rich' sound. Considering the physical dimensions of the speaker the low end is surprisingly deep (in room placment we can get around 45Hz at -3dB) and a bit forward (cause of the boost implemented in the amplifier). Surely you cannot rock the house with a 4"driver but with movies this speaker can work well.
Ideal ear height is between Tweeter and Woofer, mainly in near field listening.
